About Chrissellene Petropoulos

Chrissellene G. Petropoulos is an internationally renowned opera singer. After facing vocal challenges of her own, she set out to discover the science behind vocal production. Over the course of two decades, she developed a science-based system to build and repair voices. Her passion lies in sharing her knowledge with students and providing opportunities for musicians, actors, singers, speakers, and performers.

In addition, she discovered that interfering emotions can ruin the function of the voice. She created strategies to control those emotions so that anyone can take comments and criticisms in a non-personal manner.

She is the founder of the Vocal Mastery Academy, and has been teaching for the last 38 years. Ms. Petropoulos has also created the Allegri International Foundation, Inc. (501c3) to ensure that her evidence-based system, confidence strategies and the studio will continue to benefit performers forever.

About the Allegri International foundation

Vocal Mastery, Inc. has a private studio which has been in existence since 1990. Students include professionals and not professionals who wish to strengthen their voice and confidence.

Chrissellene built a performing arts venue for three purposes:

To continue to educate and help students build their voices and their confidence!
To provide a venue for a range of fundraising and charitable activities
To continue her Vocal Mastery legacy for future generations

When the founders are deceased, Vocal Mastery, Inc. will automatically roll into a non-profit trust called Allegri International Foundation, Inc. (501c3).

What can I expect from this course?

A: The course includes 12 detailed lessons on how to build the vocal muscles required to sing or speak in the manner/style you choose, without fear of tension, cracking, or losing your voice. Each lesson includes detailed video demonstrations, diagrams, and practice exercises to master each voice command.

You will learn how to overcome your vocal challenges and understand how your emotions affect you and your voice through tangible confidence-building exercises to help you overcome the nerves that affect your performance.

You will hear and feel a transformation in your vocal production, whether you are a singer, actor, speaker, or just want to improve your voice.

How quickly will I see the results?

A: You will feel and hear results by the 4th lesson! Learning the commands is easy, but the application takes time and consistent repetition – just like building your muscles at the gym!

It takes about 6-8 months to train the muscles, and at least two years to make the changes to the muscles permanent. The more you exercise and build the muscles, the quicker your voice will improve.

What makes this course different from all other vocal courses?

A: The foundation of this course is a science-based system that has been helping singers, actors and speakers build and strengthen their voices for over 35 years. This science-based vocal system guarantees improvement in your vocal production.

Does this system work for any style of music?

A: Yes! The vocal mastery system is the technical foundation for your voice and the tools you need to maintain vocal endurance. You will be able to create a ‘sound board’ and control what sound and style you choose in a healthy manner. The sound and style is your choice!

Once you’ve built the foundation of your voice, you can sing any style of music you like – rock, pop, musical theatre, Bollywood, rap, country, opera, classical, contemporary & popular!

A: Yes! It is for the benefit of anyone who uses their voice on a daily basis. There is a scarcity of scientific knowledge having to do with the function of the voice.

This course has helped hundreds of individuals overcome their nerves and build their voices for endurance. The ages have ranged from 6 to 85 – so it’s never too early to start, and never too late to learn!
